After book ten, I had no idea how Sinclair could move this character forward in any meaningful way. Well, she sure did! This is an extraordinary book, reminds me of a heroic epic journey in many ways. Abby has to push herself to her limits and then beyond them. I am now so eager to see where this new journey will take her. And Sinclair did not abandon Abby, or we readers, completely. Sister Kate and soul mate Jesse are there for her as well as friend David from a distance. We know Abby is still very much loved and treasured and so we much watch as she transforms herself to save many others from a fate worse than death. Sinclair, as always, has fine character development, plot foreshadowing, suspense, and adventure woven throughout this excellent read. Highly recommend.Product details

I love all the Forty-Four books. They are very addicting and once you start you can't put them down until you get to the end. Jools Sinclair is a wonderfully talented author. I recommend everyone who loves to read to pick up the book and watch how it captures your imagination.
Things are getting a little too unrealistic. It's pushing it now. Time to bring the series to an end. I have enjoyed the series but...it's time now to draw it to a close.
Love the series, love all the characters, just starting last book at midnight, do not want this ride to end, is going to be hard to say goodbye to Abby and friends......
Wow, this book took us on a journey in Abby's life I sure didn't expect. Exciting and riveting to the very end. Jools has developed this character in a way that Abby kind of feels like family now. Every twist and turn in her life hurts as though she was my daughter. Well done Jools. I know Valentine's Day is not too far off but it is still going to feel like a long time waiting for book 12.
Book after book, jools Sinclair's books suck you in and young set them down. She gives you everything youve been waiting for but them it stops so perfectly leaving you mesmerized about what she have you reading next. All I can say is keep the books coming. They are hot
I seriously cannot get enough of Abby and Jools Sinclair! The books never seem long enough. This installment was an eye opener. It have a bit more detail into Samael. Which is great since he is driving me mad! I don't think Valentine's Day can get here fast enough!
Meeting the new characters and then seeing Kate again for even just a bit was a tear jerker for me. If you like the 44 series, you are going to love this one!
This is another great book from Jools, I've read all eleven of her books and they all are a great read, Once you start reading you don't want to stop until you reach the end and it never ends like you think it will. If you haven't read Jools series 44 i suggest you do, starting with book 1 thru 11. I guarantee you'll be mesmerized by the talent this lady has at keeping you on the edge of wanting to see what happens next. Better by the book! Great job Jools !!! Can't wait till book 12 comes out.
